Sasha Contreras
I'm a motion graphics and visual designer passionate about storytelling through design, animation, and digital experiences. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising, as well as a Master of Arts in Animation from DePaul University, I bring both strategic thinking and creative problem-solving to every project.
My background includes graphic design, animation, UX design, photography, video editing, and content creation, giving me a multidisciplinary perspective on how people connect with visual communication. Whether I'm designing motion graphics, building visual identities, or exploring new 3D workflows, I'm always looking for ways to create work that is engaging, purposeful, and memorable.
My professional experience includes creating both digital and print design materials across corporate, educational, and entertainment environments. My digital design experience includes social media graphics, web content, presentations, infographics, branding assets, promotional videos, advertisements, animated motion graphics, digital signage, and event marketing visuals. I have created multiple motion graphics and video content for campaigns, venue displays, and social media platforms to enhance brand experience. Within my print design experience, I have designed informational publications, promotional materials, signage, trade show materials, and retail graphics for large-scale print production. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously, delivered creative solutions under tight deadlines, and maintained brand consistency across a wide range of digital and print materials.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring new art styles, drawing, playing with a camera, or trying new dessert recipes. I’m also an avid reader, fitness enthusiast, and a proud Chicago sports fan!
